Welcome to California State University, Chico's MESA Programs.

We invite you to learn more about our family of academic initiatives that aim to support, motivate and prepare students for success in engineering and other math-based scientific fields of study. MESA serves educationally disadvantaged students, and to the extent possible by the law, emphasizes participation by students from groups with low eligibility rates for four-year institutions. If you are interested in finding out more about our programs, please follow the links below:

MEP

The MESA Engineering Program's mission is a comprehensive recruitment and retention program that supports university students who are seeking to attain degrees in engineering or computer science.

MSP

The MESA Schools Program is an academic preparation and math/science enrichment initiative that serves local middle and senior high school students to boost their achievement and interest in both college and math/science fields of study.

Announcements

MEP Scholarship due April 22th

The Spring 2016 MEP Scholarship is now available online. Several scholarships will be awarded each year by the MEP program to qualified and deserving students. The amounts will be in the range of $500 - $2,500 per year, depending on funding.
