Koret funds have been used to teach Hebrew language courses at a variety of levels, as well as to bring Dr. Julie Hilton Danan to campus in Spring 2011 to teach MJIS/RELS 305 Rabbinic Judaism: Talmud and Midrash.

Dr. Gil ad Ariely is the CKO (Chief Knowledge Officer) and a senior researcher at the International Policy Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT), Lauder School of Government Diplomacy and Strategy, at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.

Dr. Ariely's research focuses on learning and knowledge-processes from the idiosyncratic level to organizations, knowledge and innovation, evolutionary epistemology, and critical thinking and futures studies. He applies interdisciplinary research to security studies, such as learning patterns in terrorist organizations and in counter-terrorism, cyber-terrorism and cyber warfare, the ‘learning competition’ in asymmetric conflicts, and e-government and open-government.

Prof. Ariely will be teaching MJIS/POLS 418 Government and Politics of Israel and three other courses for the university in his field of research.
