Music Department Furlough Information
Due to the budget issues we are facing statewide the California State University has introduced furloughs during the 2009-2010 fiscal year to help address the significant reduction in the state General Fund support for the CSU. The below calendar illustrates the mandatory scheduled furloughs and their implementation on campus.
- Campus closure due to State budget reduction (bright green)
- ALL classes canceled and the Music Department will be closed.
- Music Department Office Closed due to Staff furlough days
(light green)
- The Department will be closed and staff will not be available
- Holidays (green)
- The campus and departments will be closed. Classes will not be in session.
- Faculty Furlough Days
- Faculty are required to take 6 additional floating furlough days in conjuction with the scheduled furlough days. The instructor will notify students of these dates at which time, classes will be canceled and the faculty member will not be available.
