The Collective Sound -
Music Camp
The Collective Sound is summer music camp for musicians ages 12-21 who play guitar,
bass or drums. The goal is to help you learn musical styles, give you
new ideas and improve your overall playing skills. Collective Sound has been created
to give you the professional edge in your understanding of music and
your instrument. It is a tremendous opportunity for the Music Department
to utilize resources during summer months. It also creates job opportunities
for current CSU, Chico students and faculty.

MENC- Music Educator's
National Conference
MENC is a professional student organization of this National Organization
promoting and maintaining music in the public school system. By working
closely with local music educator's and by sponsoring community events
and
guest lectures, future music educator's gain the tools to be successful
in
the field of music education. Our chapter has recieving recognition
for the
largest growth, and our members have also been individually commended
for
their professional development and leadership while attending Chico
State.
WOR - Wild
Oak Records
Wild Oak Records, a student-run record label, is "dedicated to recording
and releasing the finest in contemporary music and ideas to the global
marketplace."
