Museum Without Walls Lecture this Thursday: ‘It’s All in Your Head’

The Northern California Natural History Museum (NCNHM) at California State University, Chico will host audiologist Crystal Chalmers, MS, as its speaker for the last program in the fall series “It’s All in Your Head.”

Chalmers will present “Your Ears: Gateway to the Brain, Hearing, Learning, and Understanding” at 7:30 p.m., at the Chico Area Recreation District Center, 545 Vallombrosa Ave. The NCNHM is requesting a donation of $3 for adults. Students with an ID can get in for free.

“The fall series ‘It’s All in Your Head’ has covered basic science, anatomy and physiology, and issues related to health and disease,” said Greg Liggett, director of the NCNHM. “Each program is designed to be enjoyed by a general audience.”

The programs are sponsored by Enloe Medical Center, North Valley MRI & CT Center, Creative Composition, Marcia Moore, John and Renee McAmis, Gary and Judy Sitton, Price and Brown Attorneys, and the Association of Geology and Environmental Students at Chico State.
