University Box Office Now Has Online Ticketing

“The addition of online purchasing provides a convenient way to purchase tickets any time while reducing traffic and parking concerns for the Box Office patrons,” said Director of University Public Events Dan DeWayne. “During the last couple of weeks, the Box Office has been operating on a soft roll-out of the new system, and they have not experienced any problems. In fact, patrons who have taken advantage of the service have commented about the efficiency and smooth operation online sales provides.
“We anticipate many folks choosing to purchase online for all University programs, including the School of the Arts student and faculty performances, Associated Students programs, Chico Performances events, alumni activities, some athletic competitions, and all other University Box Office ticketed events,” said DeWayne.
The University Box Office is located at the corner of 2nd Street and Normal Avenue and maintains office hours from 11 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Box Office, on the phone at 530-898-6333 or, now, online at www.chicostateboxoffice.com.
