Associated Students Bookstore Partners with Online Textbook Rental Company

CSU, Chico’s Associated Students Bookstore is one of only eight college bookstores in the nation to have been selected by Chegg to participate in this test pilot program.
In efforts to keep textbook costs down and to offer students as many options as possible, the bookstore is making it possible for students to rent textbooks with Chegg either online or inside the bookstore. They can also choose to pick up the rented books in the bookstore or have them shipped to their homes. When students no longer need the books, they can drop them off at the bookstore or ship them back to Chegg themselves.
In addition to new and used textbooks, the bookstore has added options over the last several years, including adding older edition textbooks and digital copies. The partnership with Chegg offers another option with the convenience of students’ ability to pick up and return books at the bookstore.
