Saturday’s commencement exercises will include graduates from the Colleges of Agriculture, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Business, and Engineering, Computer Science and Construction Management. Sunday’s exercises will include graduates from the Colleges of Communication and Education (including Liberal Studies), Humanities and Fine Arts, and Natural Sciences as well as graduates in International and Interdisciplinary Studies.
CSU, Chico President Paul Zingg will speak at both ceremonies. Talia Michelle Israel, a graduating senior from the College of Business, will speak on Saturday. Preston James Countryman, a graduating senior in the College of Natural Sciences, will speak on Sunday.
An honorary doctorate will be awarded to David C. Favor on Saturday, May 22. Favor will receive the Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters, conferred by the California State University Board of Trustees and CSU, Chico.
