Formal Event Brings Business Community and Students Together

California State University, Chico’s Collegiate Entrepreneurial Association (CEA) will host Chico Spotlight in the Student Services Center Plaza on Friday, May 7, 7 p.m.-9:30 p.m. This formal event invites local entrepreneurs and CEOs to meet like-minded students and alumni and focuses on bringing together the business community with the campus community.

The Chico Spotlight will include hors d’oeuvres, live jazz, a silent auction and a 130-foot red carpet for guests to show off their formal attire. CEA members have invited more than 300 students and 100 business community members to the event.

During the event the CEA will spotlight the accomplishments of College of Business organizations and local businesses. Cash scholarships will be awarded to each of the elected “MVPs” from the college organizations, and entrepreneurs will be initiated into the CEA Hall of Fame.
