CSU, Chico Hosts Rural Jobs Forum Tomorrow

The forum, which runs from 9 to 11 a.m., with check-in at 8:45 a.m., is an open town hall meeting to solicit input from community leaders on the issues of jobs and economic development in California’s rural communities.
The public is invited and anyone with a special interest in this area is especially encouraged to attend.
Glenda Humiston, state director of Rural Development, U.S. Department of Agriculture, will speak and facilitate the discussion on resource-based industries, including agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
