Cisco Executive Shares Knowledge of Technology Use in Learning

Jeanne Beliveau-Dunn, vice president and general manager, Learning@Cisco, will give a presentation and lead a discussion on “Empowering Knowledge Through Collaboration Technology" Thursday, Nov. 8, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Colusa Hall 100A. The event is free and open to the public.

Collaboration technology can include e-mail, the shared use of documents and message boards, video conferencing and many other applications and technologies used in business and education.

Beliveau-Dunn has been with Cisco for 14 years in several executive positions and has been in the high-tech industry for more than 23 years. She is in charge of Cisco's e-learning programs for both employees and customers worldwide. Her industry experience gives her insights into the learning needs of the 21^st-century work force as well as the technology that enables such learning.

Beliveau-Dunn’s overall responsibilities at Learning@Cisco include product and service development and delivery, operations, marketing and serving the technical community and its support operations.
