Tickets Now on Sale for North State Symphony’s Frugal House

The North State Symphony’s Frugal House fundraiser will be held June 21­-23, and tickets are now available. Twelve interior designers from the community have teamed up with California State University, Chico students to transform a home with items that have been redesigned, refurbished and restyled. The items will be for sale during the three-day event.

The almost 4,000-square-foot home on Kennedy Avenue is being prepared right now. CSU, Chico students are busy refurbishing everything from couches to candlesticks. This year’s theme is Whimsical Wynn in the French traditional style of the Wynn Las Vegas Resort and Hotel.

There is a preview party on June 21 with wine, hors d’oeuvres and dancing, plus the first chance to tour the house and purchase designer items. Tickets for the party are $35 per person. Tickets to tour the remodeled Victorian style estate on Friday and Saturday are available for $15.

Tickets are being sold at several locations throughout Chico, including Zucchini and Vine, The Address, Dolce Home and Monks Wine Lounge.
