Representatives from almost 50 graduate schools, in addition to representatives from California State University, Chico master's programs, will gather at the Graduate and Professional School Fair on Sept. 11, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Bell Memorial Union Auditorium. Students, alumni and community members are welcome to attend this free event to learn more about specific graduate programs and the admissions process.

Megan Odom, Career Center interim director, said she and her staff are very excited about an overall increase in the number of graduate and professional schools attending this year’s fair.

“In addition to more schools attending, there is also a great diversity in the programs attending," she said. "Pepperdine, UC, Davis, Monterey Institute of International Studies and Mills College are just a few of the 45-plus programs," she added. "This fair will provide Chico State students with great opportunities to meet recruiters from the CSU system, UC system, independent universities and professional schools.” Some of the Chico State graduate programs participating include business, education, English, interdisciplinary studies and teaching in international languages.
