This event is free for high school students and includes informational Q&A sessions, demonstrations and hands-on activities — all featuring local sports science and medical professionals. Learn about some of the most important disciplines involved in the treatment and care of professional athletes such as kinesiology, physical therapy and sports optometry. All attending high school students will also be entered in a free drawing to win one of many prizes including a Nook e-reader, gift certificates to Big 5 Sporting Goods and more.
Museum visitors of all ages are encouraged to check out the museum’s new Sportsology hands-on exhibit, interact with special guests and receive valuable information about professions in sports medicine, science and technology. Standard entry fees apply for non-high school students (adults: $6, children and students: $3, children under 3: free).
