Wines of the World Event to Benefit Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology

Take a trip around the globe at the Wines of the World fundraiser from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Monks Wine Lounge and Bistro in downtown Chico. Proceeds will benefit the Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology at California State University, Chico. 

Taste wines from around the world paired with a special appetizer menu while helping the museum continue to inspire a diverse community through exhibitions and events that promote respect and appreciation for human diversity. There will also be live jazz, a silent auction and door prizes. 

Tickets cost $30 and are available now at the Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology on the first floor of the Meriam Library at CSU, Chico or at Monks Wine Lounge and Bistro, 128 W. Second St.

The museum is open 11–3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For more information call 530-898-5397.
