CSU, Chico Professor Joins Statewide List of Top Female Professors

California State University, Chico nutrition and food sciences professor Keiko Goto has been named one of the top 20 women professors in California by StateStats.org and OnlineSchoolsCalifornia.com.

The two sites set out to highlight postsecondary educators who have been recognized recently for excellence in the classroom, on campus, or in the community.

Goto, who holds a doctorate in nutritional sciences from Cornell University, is the assistant director of research and evaluation at the Center for Nutrition Activity and Promotion at CSU, Chico. She has published more than 20 articles, has secured multiple grants and was named the 2012–2013 Outstanding Professor by the University’s Faculty Recognition and Support Committee.

She joins professors from Stanford, UC Berkeley, and a number of other CSUs in earning the distinction.
