Four Selected for 2014 Outstanding Project Director Awards
California State University, Chico’s Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (RESP) has selected four recipients for its 2014 Outstanding Project Director Awards. The annual awards recognize faculty and staff who have been successful in securing and managing funding awards from external sponsors. Awardees were selected by RESP staff and will be honored at a Feb. 26 campus event.
University a Finalist in National Higher Education Sustainability Competition
California State University, Chico has been named a finalist in a national sustainability competition. The University will next create a video showcasing its efforts, in hopes of winning the competition.
Student Groups Host Business and IT Career Fair Feb. 26
Delta Sigma Pi, Phi Chi Theta and the California State University, Chico Career Center will host the spring Business, IT & SAP Career Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Bell Memorial Union Auditorium.
Registration Open for University’s This Way to Sustainability Conference IX
Registration is now open for California State University, Chico’s ninth annual This Way to Sustainability Conference, the nation’s largest student-run conference. Slated for March 6-8 in the Bell Memorial Union (BMU), the event is expected to draw more than 1,400 participants and nearly 150 speakers exploring approaches to a sustainable society.
