CSU, Chico College of Business to Host Information Session at Shasta College

The California State University, Chico College of Business, in partnership with Shasta College, will host an information session at Shasta College in Redding next week.

People interested in earning a CSU, Chico business degree in Redding are encouraged to attend the information session, which will be held on October 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Shasta College, 11555 Old Oregon Trail, Room 2206, in Redding.

CSU, Chico representatives will be on hand to discuss current business degree offerings and the Bachelor of Business Administration: Management Option degree available in Redding.

The business administration degree is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and is designed as a degree completion program allowing CSU, Chico students to take lower-division coursework at Shasta College and then complete CSU, Chico upper-division classes offered at the Shasta College University Center in downtown Redding.

The management program supports classroom practices including hands-on community-based problem solving, face-to-face and media-based instruction, and program-credited internships in the Redding community. To improve access, courses will be held in the evening.

People interested in business options other than management are also encouraged to attend. Coursework in degree options in finance, human resource management, marketing, project management, information systems, operations and supply chain management, and entrepreneurship and small business management are also available in Redding.
