CSU, Chico to Open Admissions for Spring 2017

Beginning Aug. 1, California State University, Chico will accept applications from fully eligible upper-division transfer students for spring semester 2017.

In addition to meeting the general CSU transfer admission requirements, upper-division students from outside of our local admission area may be held to a higher grade point average requirement. This GPA will be decided based on the size of the applicant pool. 

Applications from the following categories will also be accepted: out-of-state transfer, international, credential, second bachelor degree candidates in nursing and most graduate programs.

The following graduate programs will not accept applications for spring 2017 due to existing enrollment:  anthropology, communication sciences and disorders, computer science, computer and electrical engineering, nursing, psychology and social work.

Domestic undergraduate students must apply no later than midnight on Aug. 31, 2016 at www.csumentor.edu. International undergraduates must apply by Sept. 30, 2016. The deadline for domestic and international graduate students to apply is Sept. 15, 2016.
