Activities and Accomplishments

2017-2018

The Gateway Science Museum was voted Best Museum in Butte County for 2017 by the Enterprise Record and more recently won the Best Museum category in the Chico News and Review. The museum was also featured in The Gateway Science Museum Educates and Inspires article that was published in Enjoy Magazine.  

The Fall 2017 issue of Chico Statements features research conducted by faculty and students from the Department of Biological Sciences. Assistant Professor Amanda Banet and her team are studying the effects of habitat restoration on endangered populations of Chinook Salmon. Read the official statement here
