Our College is single-minded in its focus on strengthening all aspects of math and science, in both research and education, in the North State and beyond.
Our faculty is committed to involving students in real-life problems, giving them the skills necessary to face the challenges that the future will bring. Students are involved in out-of-classroom learning, which includes working in research labs, field research, internships and service learning.
Faculty publish more than 120 articles, proceedings and abstracts each year and make more than 160 professional presentations—and in almost all cases, students are involved. Check it out: Scientific Research and Career Data.

The media often reports on our faculty, staff and students because we reach beyond our campus borders to improve the quality of life in the North State.
