Who we are:

The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is a pre-professional membership association for students interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders. All Chico State students are welcome to join. Most of our members are either CMSD (Communication Sciences and Disorders) majors, people who are planning a career in either Speech Language Pathology or Audiology, are interested in the field or have a personal connection to the profession.

What we do:

We have monthly meetings with speakers from the community who come from varying areas in our field, Speech Language Pathologists with private practices, SLP's who work in school settings, SLP's who work in hospital settings, Audiologists, etc.

We sponsor scholarships for members, donate money to organizations in our field and help support our on campus clinic. We also have social events, which are great for networking with students and faculty.
