We are the local CSU, Chico chapter of
the national organization NSSLHA
(National Student Speech Language and HearingAssociation).
All CSU, Chicostudents are welcome to join.
Most of our members are either CMSD
(Communication Sciences and Disorders) majors,
(people who are planning a career in either
Speech Language Pathology or Audiology), are interested in
the field or have a personal connection to the profession.

We have monthly meetings with speakers fromthe community
who come from varying areas in our field,
Speech Language Pathologistswith private practices,
SLP's who work in school settings,
SLP's who work in hospital settings, Audiologists, etc.

We sponsor scholarships formembers,
donate money to organizations in our field
and help support our on campus clinic.
We have social events which are fun and great for networking with students and faculty.
