Save the Date: November 11th Stay Tuned to learn more about the Fall RN-ASC meeting which will feature "Trauma Man", new audio-visual equipment and other features.
The Sence Foundation for their generous award that provided funding for updated cameras and a new computer control station.
The Hill-ROM Corporation for the loan of an Obstetrical Suite of furniture that has helped more than 300 students exerience OB/NRP training using state of the art equpment.
California Medical Alliance (CMA) for their grant award. Their generous award when combined with the BGMA allowed us to purchase pre-programmed clinical scenarios for use with the patient simulators!
Butte-Glenn Medical Alliance for their grant award. Their generous award was combined with the CMA award and allowed us to purchase pre-programmed clinical scenarios for use with the patient simulators!
The Son's of Italy for their gift that allowed us to purchase an additional viewing monitor for our simulated Operating Room.

Through the use of the Clinical Simulation
Center, faculty provide risk-free, hands-on educational programs
for physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals.

NRP Teams from Enloe Medical Center and Feather River Hospital train at the Rural SimCenter.
Enloe Medical Center is really focused on Team Training to promote patient safety as the Obstetric Teams work with the Neonatal Teams to practice hi-risk low volume events. Doctors, Nurses and Respiratory Therapists are making a difference through purposeful practice at the Rural SimCenter.

SimMan has taken a leave of absence from active duty to have his 100,000 mile check-up in New York! He should be back soon! Meanwhile NOELLE is on the job and doing a great job filling SimMan's shoes.
