Enloe nurses participate in pediatric education

Students practice skills and participate in a full range of patient cases using simulation technology.

The Rural Northern California Clinical Simulation Center Partnership is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art education using dynamic teaching tools. Through the use of the Clinical Simulation Center, faculty provide risk-free, hands-on educational programs for Nurses, and other health care professionals.

Best Nursing Team Award

At our Simulation Center open House last month, Advance for Nurses presented Becky and the Sim Center Advisory Board with an award for collaborative efforts in nursing (we were runnerup for first place).

Educator of the Year Awarded SimCenter Instructor

Congratulations to Becky Damazo, who was awarded the campus "Educator of the Year" by President Zingg, in recognition of exceptional dedication to teaching and learning, by the Chico Rotary Club. Becky was recognized for the outstanding work she has done with the Simulation Center, in developing the infrastructure, and then educating our students, hospital staff, and the faculty she has trained in the simulation faculty workshops. --Dr. Sherry Fox
