Learn About the SimCenter
The Clinical Simulation Center is located at 560 Cohasset
Road. The center is part of the Cohasset Campus of Enloe Medical
Center. The facility houses mock patient rooms, operating room, nurses station, delivery room, and neonatal nursery. The SimCenter has adult, pediatric, birthing, infant and premie simulators.
There is a nursing station that is fully equipped to allow
real life scenarios and allow practice of team skills. The
facility is fully integrated with audio/visual equipment to
allow digital recording of simulations for debriefing and future
review and refinement.
There are two control centers and two conference rooms which overlook the simulation
areas via a projection screen. Up to 4 areas can be controlled
at one time making it possible to run multiple scenarios simultaneously.
The conference rooms both have full visual capabilities that
allow non-participants
to view scenarios
and critique participants.
Both conference rooms are equipped with a
DVD player,
Computer projection
abilities, computer and White
Board.
The Rural SimCenter Partnership
The Rural Northern California Clinical Simulation Center Partnership
is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art education using
dynamic teaching tools. Through the use of the Clinical Simulation
Center, students and professionals can experience risk-free,
hands-on clinical situations. Examples include mock codes,
intubation procedures, inserting chest tubes, managing critical
care scenarios and numerous other opportunities.
To Schedule time at the RN SimCenter please view the Calendar and then submit a
reservation request.
The Center is open
from 7am to 7pm Monday
through Friday. At this time we cannot accommodatereservations
that require more
than 8 hours per
day. Please completely
fill out the request
form and include
equipment needs.
