We offer a variety of instructor courses throughout the year. These courses provide beginning to advanced instruction in the use of simulation technology. Our award winning simulation center is the location of our courses and provides the learner with a chance to view technology from different manufacturers as well as provides the ideal setting for hands-on training in simulation. Sim 2.0The next steps in simulation education with increased focus on debriefing, unfolding case scenarios, evaluation, interdisciplinary cases and curriculum integration. This course is designed to assist the educator in ways to close student learning gaps. The next Sim 2.0 Class is June 26-26, 2015.
Sim 4G Specialty Courses. Check out the new courses:
- Advanced Scenario Design
- Working with live actors (standardized patients)
- Advanced Debriefing Tools and Techniques
These courses are designed to complement the basic instructor courses without repeating content from other classes. The next Sim 4G Class is July 7-10, 2015.
Prerequisite: beginning and intermediate level simulation courses. The specialty courses are advanced courses taught in small groups (registration is limited to 10) to assure an immersive experience with specialized attention and active learning.
