We offer a variety of instructor courses throughout the year. These courses provide beginning to advanced instruction in the use of simulation technology. Our award winning simulation center is the location of our courses and provides the learner with a chance to view technology from different manufacturers as well as provides the ideal setting for hands-on training in simulation. May 28-29 Simulation 1.0 The basics with new breakout options, including a "refresher option"! This course will showcase the latest simulation educator methods and get you off to a good start with scenario design and development.

Sim 2.0

July 22-23 Simulation 2.0 The next steps in simulation education with increased focus on debriefing, unfolding case scenarios, evaluation, interdisciplinary cases and curriculum integration. This course is designed to assist the educator in ways to close student learning gaps.

Sim 4G

Simulation 4G Specialty Courses. Check out the new courses:

• Advanced Scenario Design
• Working with live actors (standardized patients)
• Advanced Debriefing Tools and Techniques
• Theatrical Moulage

These courses are designed to complement the basic instructor courses without repeating content from other classes.

Prerequisite: beginning and intermediate level simulation coursesThe specialty courses are advanced courses taught in small groups (registration is limited to 10) to assure an immersive experience with specialized attention and active learning.
