LVN-to-BSN Program
Applicants who hold LVN licenses may qualify for advanced placement admission to nursing. The LVN-to-BSN program is an online, part-time program.
Due to state budget cuts, this program will not admit for Fall 2010. The next application cycle will be for Fall 2011. Application information will be available in Fall 2010.
Priority will be given to those who live or work in our rural service area, i.e., north of Sacramento to the northern and eastern borders. LVNs who reside outside the service area may be considered, but must be aware that some on-campus time is required. Clinical placements are required, and we cannot guarantee placements outside our region, as it is very difficult to get contracts with agencies outside our service area.
Most clinical placements will occur in the summertime The program is a three-year part-time program, designed for working nurses.
The baccalaureate program is accredited by the California Board of Registered Nursing and by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
