Mount Shasta
130 MILES FROM CHICO
Mt. Shasta stands 14,179 feet high. Its staggering peak remains snowcapped year round and features seven named glaciers, including both the longest and the most voluminous in the state. Experienced hikers are rewarded with breathtaking vistas and can see for miles on a clear day. The mountain also provides less demanding trails with scenic terrain and abundant wildlife.
