The North State Symphony’s Frugal House fundraiser will be held June 21-23, and tickets are now available. Twelve interior designers from the community have teamed up with California State University, Chico students to transform a home with items that have been redesigned, refurbished and restyled. Two Faculty Members Receive Prestigious ACE Fellowships
Students Win Top Award for 13th Year at Prestigious Manufacturing Engineers Event
Students from California State University, Chico’s Sustainable Manufacturing Program won the Grand Prize for the 13th time at the prestigious 2012 WESTEC (Western Tool Exposition and Conference) Manufacturing Challenge on March 27. The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) hosted the challenge. The students won the competition by creating a manufacturing system for producing a sustainable composite skateboard deck, with trucks and axles. Read more...

Top Collegiate Fundraiser
CSU, Chico was the top collegiate fundraiser for the 4th year in a row for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In 2010 Chico celebrated being the fastest school to reach $1 million in donations.
