BMU Gallery: discharge
7:00 AM
BMU 3rd Floor Art Gallery
Glass artist Elissa Batchley and printmaker Rodolfo Salgado Jr have combined their mutual interest in the aesthetics and movement of liquid in both two- and three-dimensional forms. Elissa works with glass, steel, mesh, and cable to show how materials react to, shape, and influence each other. Rodolfo produces elegant pieces that create an imaginary world of tubes, pipes, and other organic and industrial forms that store and move liquids. The title “Discharge” says it all.
