HFA Trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos

To skip forward or back, pause, or mute sound please use the navigation in the upper left corner of the slide show.

Thirty-five people traveled with the College of Humanities and Fine Arts to the Galapagos Islands and Quito, Ecuador from Jan. 4 through 14, 2008. The Galapagos Islands represent one of the few geographical locations left on the planet in which nature is pristine. The Galapagos are known for the wide array of animals that live on them, including Darwin's finches, great lizards and the

largest tortoises in the world.  Here is just a sample of the thousands of photos that were taken on the trip. The photographers represented here are Denise Farmer, Lynn Cannon and Nina Zamudio.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for the participants. If you would like more information on HFA trips (a trip to Spain and Portugal is filling now), visit the Web site at http://www.csuchico.edu/hfa/travel/
