Northstate Public Radio needs your help to reach its Autumn Membership Drive goal of $150,000 by Sunday!
Licensed to the CSU, Chico Research Foundation, the station has designed its campaign to compliment the University’s Sustainability Initiative and upcoming conference. “Northstate Public Radio - The Natural Choice” is the theme for the drive, which features special programming in the Green Theme as well as Earth-friendly incentives. Thanks to an alliance with River Partners, supporters may encourage riparian habitat restoration along the Sacramento River, in lieu of a thank-you gift.
KCHO (91.7 FM, Chico) and KFPR (88.9 FM, Redding) serve The North State with NPR programs including “Morning Edition,” “All Things Considered,” and “Fresh Air” as well as the favorites, “This American Life,” “A Prairie Home Companion,” and “Car Talk.” Your contributions fund these programs and help the station implement its goals. The station is planning improved local news reporting, transmitter and website improvements, and outreach efforts in the Redding Region.
