Deadline for Applications to the Latin American Studies Cultural Immersion Program in Merida, Mexico Extended to Monday, April 21
We need students for this exciting and enriching program. The Latin American Studies Cultural Immersion Program is a great way for students to fulfill their Upper Division Theme requirement and spend six weeks in Mexico to boot. Students finish Theme I, Mexico/Central America in the first 10 weeks of the fall semester, then go to Mexico with a CSU, Chico faculty member to work in an unpaid internship related to their major. Through this experience, students learn things that would be unavailable to them through books and movies. It opens them up to the world and to themselves.
We have extended the deadline for applications to Monday, April 21. Please announce the program in your classes. More information is available on the web site or by contacting Charlotte Ekland, 898-4520.
