Getting Rewarded for Using Technology

The campus coordinators of EnACT (Ensuring Access through Collaboration and Technology), a federal grant, are seeking proposals for Accessible Instructional Multimedia (AIM) projects to review and publish. If you have used technology in your course to help more students learn while delivering your course content, you may be the AIM author we are looking for. A one-time AIM award of $1,500 may be yours to claim.

AIM’s are online multimedia resources that model or demonstrate the successful implementation of educational practices or innovative technologies utilized in the teaching and learning process. AIM are created by faculty or staff to support the myriad of questions or challenges faced by educators when attempting to implement the principles of Universal Design for Learning or address accessibility related issues in their courses to support student success. If you are interested in viewing current AIM, go to the AIM Library online.

If you are interested in authoring an AIM, go the AIM Authoring section. Please contact Chris Prator x5959, or Hsuying Ward X5689 for more information and assistance. This call ends April 30, 2008.
