The Cat in the Hat Is Today in Laxson
Chico Performances and the Blue Room Young Company present Seussical Jr. A group of 30 talented young actors will bring to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters including Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, all of the Whos of Whoville and of course the Cat in the Hat.
Seussical Jr. is a magical adventure filled with classic characters, colorful music, and insightful messages that will appeal to all ages. The story is narrated by JoJo, a young boy with a wild imagination, and follows Horton on a fantastical journey through The Jungle of Nool and Whoville. As each story unfolds, you will marvel at how relevant and profound Seuss’s subtle themes are.
This musical extravaganza will be performed tonight at 7:30pm in Laxson Auditorium on the CSU, Chico Campus. Tickets are $12 adult, $10 senior, $8 student/child, and are available at the University Box Office - 898-6333, corner of 2nd St and Normal. Tickets go up $2 at the door.
