Cancellation of DHL Services

Effective June 30, 2008, DHL will no longer be providing service in the greater Chico area. As a result, the Warehouse will no longer be able to process outgoing DHL packages. The local DHL Service Centers will also be closing their doors.

Please destroy any unused DHL air bills that you may have after June 30. If you have any questions regarding this cancellation of services please feel free to contact Heather C. Long at extension: 4320.

If you have questions regarding alternate shipping carriers or pricing, please notify Chris Marolla at ext. 5361.

Graduate, International & Interdisciplinary Studies Moving

The School of Graduate, International & Interdisciplinary Studies office including International Student Advising & Study Abroad, currently located in Tehama 209 will be closed Friday, June 27 & Monday, June 30 in order to move to SSC 440. Our office will open with limited services July 1. We will fully reopen on Monday, July 7. Thanks for your patience during our transition.

State Travel Signature Authorization Form

New fiscal year Travel Accounting Authorized Signature Forms need to be completed for persons authorized to approve 2008/09 State travel expenses. The form is located on the Web. Please return the completed form to Travel Accounting at zip 140 at your earliest convenience. State travel transactions for 2008/09 cannot be processed until the approved form has been received in Travel Accounting. If you have any questions, please contact Pat Heath at ext. 5766.

Bookstore Closing Today at 2pm

The Associated Students Bookstore will be closing today at 2pm and will be closed all day tomorrow for our annual inventory process. To accommodate faculty, staff, summer session and Summer Orientation participants, we will be selling catalogs, testing materials, and the Book in Common at the Information Center inside the BMU. We will reopen Monday, June 30 to our regular summer hours. Any purchases for this fiscal year must be completed by 4:30pm on Monday, June 30. Please call 898-5222 if you have any questions.

2008 Summer Hours, June 30-July 4

This year, summer hours began the week of May 26 and will end on August 15. The summer work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7 am to 4:30 pm, with one-half hour for lunch, and Friday from 7am to 11am - with the following exception:

The summer work schedule for the week of July 4 (June 30 - July 4) will be: Monday - Thursday (8 hours each day, 7am - 4pm, with one (1) hour for lunch), and Friday (July 4 Holiday observed - 8 hours).

It is understood that due to business necessity, some units/departments may need to develop special schedules, within the standard 40-hour week.
