Banner Printing Offered
Low-Cost Banner Printing Available at the Library Copy Center
Need to print a large color banner for a special event, celebrate a birthday, anniversary, retirement, or graduation? The Rapid Graphics Copy Center on the second floor of the library has just the solution. Color banners can be printed up to 11.5” × 47” on white index stock paper for only $10. We can also copy black and white posters and banners on colored board from an 8.5” × 11” original. To preserve your banner or poster, you can also have it laminated on our roll laminator. Transportation Alternatives
The Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) Web site is designed to provide information about walking on campus, biking, busing, ridesharing, parking and more. Examples of what you can find:
• New employee transportation information is available in a one-page guide online.
• Walk and also be able to use the evening “Campus Connections” escort service.
• A map of bike parking on campus.
• All students, faculty, and staff can ride the B-Line for FREE thanks to funding from the campus and Associated Students.
• A listing of transportation options in and outside the county.

Chico Bike Maps Now Available
2008 Chico Bike Maps are now available at the BMU Information Center, the Chamber of Commerce, local bike shops and online. These high quality maps were funded as a partnership between the Butte County Association of Governments (BCAG), grant funding secured by BCAG, the City of Chico, and the University. This project was developed by BCAG in consultation with the City of Chico’s Bicycle Advisory Committee, the University and the general public.

Bicycling Tip: When bicycling to a destination, avoid busy streets that you usually drive. The Chico Velo Cycling Club offers routing by experienced bicyclists. For assistance, email lorrod7@comcast.net.

President's Convocation
The President’s Convocation is today, at 3:30pm in Harlen Adams Theatre, PAC 144. President Zingg will share impressions and perspectives with the University community followed with time to answer questions and hear comments. A reception will follow in the PAC Courtyard.
Managers and supervisors are asked to allow staff reporting to them to attend, within the limits of safety and good sense, so that they may participate in this event.

CSU, Chico Warehouse Live Auction
The Office of Property Management at CSU, Chico would like to invite you to our surplus property auction. Items include desks, filing cabinets, bookshelves, electronics, chairs, tables, and much much more.
These items are cash only and payable at the time of purchase. Viewing hours are 11am to 12noon, with the auction beginning at 12:10pm to 3pm on Tues., Sept. 16, 2008, located at the Warehouse, 810 Oak Street, Suite 100, Chico.
At the time of purchase, you must provide a vehicle to take all items selected by 3pm. Items will not be held for later removal.
