Surplus Property Available to all Departments, July 2
The Office of Property Management would like to invite your department to view our surplus property. Items include the following:
â–ª Large and small desks
â–ª Filing cabinets
â–ª Bookshelves and bookcases
â–ª Chairs
â–ª Tables
â–ª Cafe’ chairs and tables
â–ª Miscellaneous office supplies
These items are available on a first come, first serve basis. Viewing hours are 9am to 11am and 1pm to 3pm on Thurs., July 2, 2009, located at the Warehouse, 810 Oak Street.
At the time of viewing, you may want to have a departmental vehicle available to take the smaller items selected. Items will be held for 5 working days. If the item(s) are not picked up after that time the item(s) will be returned to the surplus inventory.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give the Office of Property Management a call at extension 5176 or 6559.

UPD Summer RAD class
ATTENTION STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF: The University Police Department will hold a summer R.A.D. class July 27 through July 29. R.A.D. is a self-defense program designed specifically for women, and integrates risk reduction strategies with physical defense techniques. The hours are 5:30pm to 9:30pm each night. The class will meet in Yolo #109. R.A.D. is offered at no cost to participants. Participants MUST be able to attend all three sessions. There are still spaces available.

Blood Drive, July 8
Noon - 3pm
BloodSource Bloodmobiles will be located near Glenn & Siskiyou Halls. Pint for a Pint of Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream. Visit any mobile blood drive July 1 through September 3 and be automatically entered into a weekly drawing for a $250 fuel gift card. Eat and drink plenty of fluids and bring ID. Hosted by Staff Council.

CSUEU Meeting - Update on Furloughs, July 1
The CSU Employee’s Union (CSUEU) will hold an informational meeting tomorrow, Wed., July 1, from 12noon - 1pm in Kendall 207/209. This past weekend, the Chico Chapter of CSUEU met with other state chapters at the Board of Directors Meeting. We would like to update union members and fee-payers on what the status of furloughs are and what the next steps will be. Drinks will be provided.
