News Release: CSU, Chico to Accept Spring Applications from Service Area

CSU, Chico to Accept Spring Applications from Service Area

California State University, Chico will accept applications for the spring 2010 semester from fully eligible upper-division transfer students within its service area. The filing period is Aug. 1 to Aug. 31, 2009.

Applicants are considered service-area students if, prior to fall 2009, they last attended one of the following California Community Colleges: Butte, Feather River, Lassen, Shasta, Yuba or College of the Siskiyous. Transfer applicants must meet minimum CSU eligibility requirements.

CSU, Chico will also be open to applications from fully eligible upper division transfer students who can provide evidence that their permanent residence is in one of the following service area counties: Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity and Yuba.

UPD Summer RAD Class

ATTENTION STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF: The University Police Department will hold a summer R.A.D. class July 27 through July 29. R.A.D. is a self-defense program designed specifically for women, and integrates risk reduction strategies with physical defense techniques. The hours are 5:30pm to 9:30pm each night. The class will meet in Yolo #109. R.A.D. is offered at no cost to participants. Participants MUST be able to attend all three sessions. There are still spaces available.
