CSUEU- Furlough Vote, July 14

Tues., July 14
Kendall 207/209
12 Noon

I would recommend reading the FAQs before the Agreement as it may answer any questions you have while reading the Furlough Implementation Tentative Agreement (TA) . Both the TA and the FAQ will be posted on the CSUEU Web site shortly. Please also note that the FAQ is a “living document.” We anticipate that we will continue to receive feedback and questions relating to the FAQ as well as the tentative agreement, and will update the FAQ as these questions come in.

We will be holding a meeting Tues., July 14 at 12pm and will have a representative from the Bargaining Team present to answer questions and give more information. If you have any specific questions let me know and I will get them to the representative early so that he/she will have an answer for you on Tuesday.

Immediately following the meeting there will be a vote for the ratification of the agreement. The vote will be done by bargaining unit and will be coordinated as such. Jorge Salinas, Director of Labor Relations, is working to assure managers allow employees time to come and vote on this important issue.

As with the advisory vote, you must be a member in order to vote on the ratification of this agreement. If you are not a member and would like to vote, we will have membership applications available on Tuesday. If you have any questions on the cost difference between members and fee payers there is information on the Web site or feel free to ask me.

Campus Recycling Services Survey

To help us determine how well we are servicing your recycling needs, please complete a very brief survey that will help us to figure out what areas we may need to improve upon and where we may be excelling.

Your feedback is highly important to us, because you can let us know how our program looks from an outside perspective. Your cooperation and honesty is greatly appreciated. To complete the survey please go to the Web site.
