Cash for a Cancer Cure

The Chico State Relay For Life team needs your help with our fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Cash for a Cure canisters will be distributed next week to those offices willing to participate. They will remain in offices through October to collect donations from the campus community. We will also be posting canister locations on University Announcements and flyers.

If you would like to participate in this fund raiser by displaying a donation canister in your office, please contact Peggy Armocido at X5751 or e-mail.

Thank you for supporting the Chico State Relay For Life Team in our fight against cancer.

The Alumni Association's Annual Family Weekend BBQ, Oct. 10

Join us at the annual Family Weekend BBQ “Fare Square” to promote your organization to new students.

The Alumni Association invites your campus organization to join us for the annual Family Weekend BBQ on Kendall Lawn, Sat., Oct. 10. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet new students and parents by tabling at our event called the “Fare Square” and handing out fan fare, including coupons and give aways, to the 800 to 1,000 attendees. You will need to provide your own table and sunshade, which we recommend you have. There is a $25 fee to participate at the event, which includes 2 tickets to the BBQ catered by Kinder’s. We will be serving chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, fresh fruit, pasta salad, BBQ beans, soda, water, and cookies.

This is a public event and will be open to all ages. Come join us for food, fun, and to get your organization out to the new students on campus. Please visit our Web site for more information on Family Weekend, and contact Megan at AlumStudent1@csuchico.edu to reserve your space today.
