Culture, Conversation and Cuisine (CCC) Hosts Needed
Dear Faculty and Staff,
The Campus Internationalization Task Group on Integrating International Students into the Campus and Community is looking for faculty and staff to volunteer to help for one afternoon or evening for the Culture, Conversation, and Cuisine program.
In this program, a faculty or staff member agrees to host a meal at their home during October and November 2009. We will invite 4 to 8 new students (half international and half U.S.) to each home for a meal. This gives the international students a chance to make friends with U.S. students, gives the U.S. students a chance to learn about other countries, and gives hosts and the students a chance to learn about other cultures. If you might be interested in hosting a meal in your home, please email us by Sept. 28. We will send you more information, and then you can decide if and when you wish to participate.
Thank you for your consideration and support,
Alexxis Harris
Culture, Conversation, and Cuisine Coordinator
James Luyirika-Sewagudde, Jr.
