State Travel Commercial Car Rental Contract
State employees are reminded of the current Commercial Car Rental contract negotiated by the Department of General Services (DGS). Only the car rental agencies under contract with the State are authorized for State travel.
They are:
• ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR (Primary)
• Alamo Rent a Car (Secondary)
• National Car Rental (Secondary)
If Enterprise does not have an appropriate vehicle available, is closed, or does not represent a location, Alamo and National are approved as alternatives.
The only authorized forms of payment for State car rentals are your American Express Government Card or the Car Rental Business Travel Account (CRBTA) which bills directly to the university. These approved forms of payment, combined with the use of the State rental car contract, achieve the protections afforded in the Master Contract program (LDW/CDW/Liability included). Cash or personal credit cards are prohibited and void the terms of the contract. Foundation funds cannot be used for the CRBTA.
State employees must submit a Travel Request to Travel Accounting (zip 140) PRIOR to departure. Visit the Travel Accounting web site for State travel forms. See the online Travel Manual, pages 29-31, for details regarding the CRBTA and reserving a vehicle. Travel Accounting does not reserve vehicles.

Chico Performances presents Igudesman & Joo, Oct. 10
Chico Performances presents an evening of classical comedy with Igudesman & Joo: A Little Nightmare Music, scheduled for Sat., Oct. 10 at 7:30pm in Laxson Auditorium.
What Penn and Teller are to magic, Igudesman & Joo are to music. They’re highly trained classical musicians, but they’re also crazily inspired comics. Playing violin and piano, this marriage of music and humor defies categorization. It’s a performance full of musical virtuosity and zany, outrageous humor. If you thought Victor Borge was a hoot at his piano, you’ll love the loony antics of Igudesman and Joo.
Tickets are $23 Premium, $18 Adult, $16 Senior, $14 Student/Child
Available online or at the University Box Office, 898-6333.
For more information, please visit the Web site.

A.S. Presents Elizabeth Cook, TONIGHT
AS Presents is proud to present Elizabeth Cook in the BMU Auditorium on Oct. 1, 2009. Doors open at 7:30pm. The performance will begin at 8pm.
A singer, a songwriter, an actor, and radio host, Elizabeth Cook is a multifaceted artist who brings together a beautiful and engaging performance. Yes, Elizabeth can be classified as a Country artist, but she is different than the popular Country music of today. Elizabeth is classified as “roots” Country or traditional Country in the vein of Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette. Her new hit single “Sometimes It Takes Balls to Be a Woman” is an anthem testifying to the strength and intelligence of women and a true representation of Elizabeth Cooks commanding strength as an artist.
Tickets are available at the University Box Office on 2nd and Normal or online.
