Chico Distance Carnival: Talented runners from different schools will compete in distance races.

The Great Chico Debate
Students from CSU, Chico and Butte College and faculty, staff, and community members take part in this large-scale event. The Great Chico Debate takes place in Chico's City Council Chambers, the City Plaza, and other city buildings; it is a partnership program between the University and the city. A large Civic Expo fair with interactive booths is part of this event, and attendees can hear speeches, debates and panel presentations as well as participate in discussion groups. 2014 Distinguished Alumni Dinner
President Paul J. Zingg will host the annual dinner sponsored by the CSU, Chico Alumni Association. This event honors distinguished alumni from CSU, Chico's seven colleges and the recipient of the Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award. The honored alumni are visiting Chico from throughout the nation.

Top student directors take the hot seat, mentored by faculty member William Johnson, to present an evening of little plays that pack a big punch.
