Founders Week

Founders Week logoFounders Week is an annual spring celebration of California State University, Chico’s achievements and traditions. Founders Week traces its roots back to 1909, when Charter Day was first held to remember the early days of the Normal School and to memorialize John Bidwell and deceased members of the faculty.

This year, Founders Week will be held April 4–13, 2014. Events are currently being added to the calendar, so check the dates to the right for the most up-to-date information.

For more information about Founders Week, please call 530-898-4143.

For events on the Chico State campus, accommodations will be provided upon request for people with disabilities, provided the request is made at least seven days prior to the event. Call 530-898-5959 for more information.
