FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Feb. 23, 2007 Joe Wills The International Black Inventions Museum will be on display one day only at California State University, Chico's Bell Memorial Union Auditorium Monday, March 12. Entrance to the museum exhibit will be free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Museum Curator Hamza Salifu will be on hand to answer any questions. The museum, which has traveled all over the world since its founding in 1988, provides the history and accomplishments of Africans and people of African descent, with exhibits featuring inventions as varied as the lawn mower and space shuttle retrieval system. The goal of the museum is to promote positive images and self-esteem in children and adults and teach people about the contributions that Africans throughout the world have given to society. The museum showing is part of CSU, Chico's Black History
