FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 27, 2007 Kathleen McPartland An executive producer for an Emmy Award-winning creative studio, an editor/producer in motion picture advertising and a sports writer for the Sacramento Bee are among the alumni returning to California State University, Chico for the School of Communication's Connect 2007 event on April 4 and 5. Eleven alumni and a guest filmmaker will meet with students in the journalism, design and related communication fields and share their professional experiences. The second year of this event held by the School of Communication will include lunch with fellow speakers and Dean Phyllis Fernlund of the College of Communication and Education (CME), breakfast with CSU, Chico President Paul Zingg and meetings with CME students and faculty. "The event is informative and inspiring for the students.
It also allows our School of Communication alumni to reconnect with
