Workshop on Conducting a Child The conference will cover such topics as theory of custody evaluations, interviewing parents and children, using psychological tests and parenting inventories in the evaluation, introduction to special problems and professional issues such as ethics, biases, working with the courts, confidentiality and access to reports. This conference will provide 7.5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LCSWs and attorneys (MCLE). Continuing Education credit for psychologists (MCEP) is pending final approval. Philip Stahl, Ph.D. is a psychologist in private practice in Dublin, California. He is a frequent presenter at the Association of Family Court and Community Professionals (AFCC) meetings, meetings of the American Psychological Association, California Psychology Association and American Orthopsychiatric Association. He provides training for child custody evaluators and others working with high conflict families of divorce. Dr. Stahl has presented workshops at the statewide trainings of the California Judicial Council and has helped train custody evaluators throughout the United States. Butte County Behavioral Health and the Butte County Bar Association are co-sponsors of this event.
