DNA: Do Not Assume You Know Who We Are, Oct. 8

Despite years of education and legislation, attitudes about people with disabilities continue to be the greatest barrier to success. Whether it be in higher education or employment. Legislation provides us with a legal foundation upon which to build policy, but doesn’t legislate attitude. The only way to reach people at the heart of what they believe is to show them a different perspective.

Come for an hour, Monday, Oct. 8 from noon to 1pm in BMU 210. See for yourself how to best interact with people with disabilities and life from their perspective. Come and learn how we can make CSU, Chico a more welcoming place for our students, faculty and staff with disabilities.
